The Dwight-Englewood robotics teams, FTC Team 207 and FTC Team 13048, strive to cultivate in each member a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and responsibility in promoting technology and robotics in the local community, and seeks to exemplify FIRST’s guiding principle of Gracious Professionalism. Teams compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge, an international robotics competition for high school students in which teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. This past season, the team qualified for and attended the World Championship in Houston, Texas.
