Over the past few weeks, the Upper School Garden Club has been working on building two new compost tumblers to restore old ones which had rusted through. This work was more or less concluded on Friday, March 7 with the installation of one of the new tumblers next to the garden. The other one is also complete and just needs to be transported to the garden.

For senior Garden Club leaders Len Glozman, Ben Gmyrek, and Hannah Carroll, this represented a bittersweet moment, as these are likely the last compost tumblers they will build. Notably, Len and Ben have participated in the construction of each of the ten tumblers currently standing in use, meaning their legacy will be felt for many years to come.
